Registration with Early Fees and Regular Fees includes:
- Admission to all scientific sessions and all Satellites sessions 2-6 Sept. in Exeter.
- Coffee breaks and lunch for the duration of the conference in Exeter.
- Name badge.
- Access to the poster session with small refreshment in Exeter.
- If you are a Young Researcher of Complex Systems you have the opportunity to partecipate to the Warm-UP in London (limited availability – Remember to register to the YRCCS Warm-Up with the proof of conference fee payment).
- Membership to the Complex Systems Society.
- The fee will provide the opportunity to present at the main conference only one work as poster or contributed talk or lightning – This will be enforced during the registration process –.
- If you wish to present multiple works at the main conference you will have to pay multiple fees (you have to contact us check registration guidelines).
Registration with Satellite Only Early and Satellite Only Regular includes:
- Admission only to all Satellites sessions 2-3 Sept. in Exeter.
- NOTE! The admission during the days of the main conference is not included!
- Coffee breaks and lunch during the Satellites session 2-3 Sept. in Exeter.
- Name badge color coded for satellite’s days only.
- For Postdocs and Phd Students members of the YRCSS: the Satellite Only fee does not allow you to partecipate to the YRCCS Warm-up.
- Membership to the Complex Systems Society.
- Satellite Only fee will give the opportunity to attend and present your contribution during the satellite days only.
Registration to the WarmUp for Young Researcher on Complex Systems:
- Young researchers (Master’s and PhD students or postdocs up to 4 years after their PhD defense) have the opportunity to participate to the Warm-Up event organised by the Young Researchers of the Complex Systems Society (yrCSS) in London. The event is free if you register to the conference with Early or Regular Fees (not if you select Satellite Only!), so all you need to register to the Warm-Up is your proof of conference fee payment. Only a limited number of spots is available, though!
Cancellation Policy
- If you wish to cancel your registration before the early fee deadline (15th July), then you will receive a refund of your fee paid minus £50 of administrative cost.
- From the 16th July the registration Fee is not refundable.
Examples of Registration:
Scenario 1
1A) You want to present one accepted work in the main conference (regardless of whether you are presenting in a satellite or not).
1B) You want to attend the whole conference, including satellites, but you are not presenting any work.
1C) You are presenting in a satellite (or multiple ones), and want to attend the whole conference.
Once you have opened the registration site, select the option which applies to you. For instance, if you are an academic attendee, select option 3 “Academic” and click on “Book Event”. This will then open a page where you can tick a box at the bottom to add the gala dinner for yourself. You can then click on “Confirm Items’ to confirm your selection and then “Add to Basket” to add this item to your basket. You can then proceed to checkout, where you will be asked to create an account on the system. Once you have done this, there will be a short form to fill in where you will be asked to provide some information for the conference.
Important: you will be asked to provide the number on the submission system referring to your accepted work that you wish to present. in the main conference. This refers to your accepted work at the main conference, not at a satellite! We require this information as each author will only be allowed to present ONE work per registration fee at the main conference (there are no restrictions on satellite presentations). If you do not have any accepted work in the main conference, simply enter 000 here.
Scenario 2
You want to present TWO or more accepted works in the main conferencE.
Register one work first, following the instruction of scenario 1. Then, get in touch at ccs2024uk+extraworks@gmail.com about your other works that you would like to present as soon as possible, and no later than June 30th. We will let you know by July 10th the cost of adding extra works and how to do so.
Important: Register the first work as the Scenario 1, then email us before July 16th!
Scenario 3
3A) You are presenting in a satellite (or multiple ones) and only want to attend the satellite days
3B) You only want to attend the satellite days
Once you have opened the registration site, select option 6 “Satellite only” and click on “Book Event”. You can then click on “Confirm Items’ to confirm your selection and then “Add to Basket” to add this item to your basket. You can then proceed to checkout, where you will be asked to create an account on the system. Once you have done this, there will be a short form to fill in where you will be asked to provide some information for the conference.
Important: the system will ask you to provide a number for accepted contribution that you wish to present. This only refers to the main conference so you can simply enter 000 here.
Scenario 4
you only want to attend the gala dinner or want extra tickets for the dinner (for a friend, your partner, etc…)
You can do so by selecting option 7 in the registration site, where you will be able to buy tickets just for the gala dinner.
