Open Arms grant
The CCS organising committee is pleased to announce a limited number of travel grants to attend the conference. The goal is to support people from low and middle-income countries who require financial support for travel and conference costs in order to attend. Grants may be used for participation fees, economic flights, accommodation, visa costs, and/or health insurance.
Grants will only be awarded to people who will present their research (oral presentation, poster or satellite) during CCS2024. Applicants must reside in one of the low and lower-middle, and upper-middle-income economies (defined by the World Bank) and cannot be previously awarded an Open Arms grant. If the applicant has not yet submitted an abstract, you may include a one-page abstract for the poster session during the submission.
How to
Applicants must submit a motivation letter (250-word limit) disclosing their affiliation(s), career stage, publications (if any), and the title and submission number.

Selection process
Applicants will be notified of the decision via email. The budget will depend on the number of applicants.
Applicants who are awarded a grant are required to attend the conference in person.
Expenses will be reimbursed after the conference.
