CSS Awards

In order to recognise contributions to the science of complex systems, CCS 2024 will present the following awards on behalf of the Complex Systems Society.

Senior Scientific Award

Sponsored by Frontiers in Big Data & Frontiers in Complex Systems

The most prestigious award granted by the society to recognize society members who have advanced the field of complexity science by achieving truly exceptional scientific results.

Junior Scientific Award

Granted by the society to young researchers (up to ten years after PhD completion) who have achieved outstanding results in complexity science in the areas representative of the CSS.

Emerging Award

The award granted by the society to young researchers (up to three years after PhD completion) and aimed at recognizing promising results in complexity science in the areas representative of the CSS.
